If you’re in high school or college, consider applying to our Fellow program.
If you’re looking to get hands-on experience working on a progressive, grassroots, local political campaign, you’re in the right place. Dan has an extensive career in finance and economics. After 23 years of working for the Federal Reserve and Cisco, he wanted to give back to the community. He is now a professor at Glendale College teaching Economics and founder of the
Glendale Environmental Coalition (GEC) championing climate. As a professor, he understands what it means to help develop young people in a meaningful way.
Dan is depending on volunteers like you to help build his coalition, spread his message, and run an effective campaign. The fellowship program is designed to be a win-win for you and for the team.
What we expect from you:
- A minimum weekly commitment to the campaign, with the number of hours per week to be negotiated depending on details of course credit and/or scheduling needs.
- Willingness to be flexible — not all campaign work is glamorous.
What Dan for Glendale will provide to our interns (Fellows):
- Mentorship about the political process and running campaigns.
- A chance to make a difference in your community.
